Aims and Scope

NexQ Agriculture is a Gold Open Access, peer-reviewed journal published by NexQ Research Consortium. The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge across the entire spectrum of agricultural sciences – from fundamental research on crop and soil biology to applied innovations in farm management, food systems, and rural development.

NexQ Agriculture provides a rapid and rigorous platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working in agriculture, allied sciences, and food security. The journal serves a global readership while maintaining a strong focus on tropical, subtropical, and South Asian agricultural systems.

Mission

To publish original, high-quality research that advances sustainable agricultural productivity, promotes food and nutritional security, and informs evidence-based agricultural policy across diverse agro-ecological settings.

  • Short Communications – brief reports of significant preliminary findings (1,500–3,000 words)
  • Technical Notes – descriptions of new methods, instruments, or protocols (1,000–2,500 words)
  • Perspectives & Opinion – expert viewpoints on emerging trends or policy issues (1,000–2,000 words)
  • Special Issue Articles – thematic collections on focused research areas, by invitation or open call

What NexQ Agriculture Does Not Publish

  • Purely veterinary clinical or medical case reports without agricultural production relevance
  • Studies with no original data, novel insight or contribution beyond already-published syntheses
  • Manuscripts outside the agricultural sciences and directly allied disciplines
